The Fault In Our Stars Trailer

Hey guys!

I am a little late on this topic, because the trailer has been out two weeks already, but it doesn't matter! We all know we'll be watching this right up to the movie! Haha

I was talking with a few friends, about the trailer, and it just brought all the feels back, all the feels! So I wanted to share it on my blog, in the rare case that you haven't already seen it!
Oh and if you haven't even read the book yet, what the heck are you waiting for man? Read it asap! Okay? Okay!

There'll probably be some TFioS read-a-thon later on in the year, around the movie release date and I'll re-read the book and post my review then!

See you later guys!

Birthday Book Haul

Books are dangerous.. and bookshops, even more so.

After holidays in Barcelona, I still had a bit of birthday money left in my back pocket and what better thing to spend it on, than books right? Well that's what I seemed to have in mind when I walked into Easons. Honestly, I had only intended to get Legend, by Marie Lu, but you know, the temptation was just too strong! Haha

No but anyway, here are the books I bought!

The Scorch Trials
By James Dashner

I read The Maze Runner near the end of Summer 2013, which was quite a while ago, I know. I was so satisfied with the ending of the first book, and it didn't end with much of a cliffhanger, so I didn't really want to pick up the second, in case I wouldn't enjoy it. But I'm gonna give it a chance anyway, since I've heard some really positive stuff about the rest of the series!

The Fault in our Stars
By John Green

I've actually already read this, but it was on iBooks on my phone, and being one of my top reads of 2013, I just had to get the physical copy, you know, for re-reads and stuff!

All Our Yesterdays
By Cristin Terrill

You would not believe how long I've been waiting for this book to show up in my local bookshop! And you can only imagine how excited I'd gotten when I finally found it haha! It's a shame that it wasn't the one with the original cover, which was what caught my attention in the first place, but I'm still excited to read it!

Clockwork Angel
By Cassandra Clare

There's this awesome booktuber, namely Katytastic, who has raved about this book, and series, enough to make me want to read it. A few other people I know have recommended it too, so I decided to give it a go!

 &

Legend and Champion
By Marie Lu

First of all, there was a 3 for 2 sale in Easons today, right? But the problem was, the only book by Marie Lu included in the sale was Champion. So I got that, and because it obviously didn't make sense buying only the third book in a series, I also got the first. I couldn't find Prodigy though, which is kinda sad and ruined all my plans! Haha

 &

City of Ashes and City of Glass
 By Cassandra Clare

For some strange reason, I've only read the first book in the Mortal Instruments series, the City of Bones. I didn't love it, but I liked it, and really want to find out what happens with Jace and Clary, so I got the next two books! Again, part of the 3 for 2 sale.. haha

   &

Hunger and Lies
 By Michael Grant

This is sort of similar to my Legend series problem, but in this case, I couldn't find the first book of the series! I must have visited like fifteen different bookshops, including shops in the UK and Spain, might I add, yet I found every other book in the series except the first. It was really annoying, but because I had a really good feeling about the series, I went ahead and got the second and third books!

So, I guess I won't be buying lunch for school anytime soon, if you know what I mean *nudge nudge*.
Yeah.. I'm broke! Hahaha. Man, I really need to get a part-time job!
Anyway, what do you guys think of my pathetic willpower? Do you, perhaps, have the same problem? Haha

Thanks for reading guys, see you!

Feature And Follow #4

Hey guys!

So this is a blog hop, which basically means, that it's a way to find and follow new blogs, by hopping from one to the other? Hahaha that's what I understand anyway! I also understand that there are a few 'Feature Follow's, but this particular one is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. Check out their blogs to get more info on the feature! If you're participating, and actually want to follow my blog, because you're just so awesome like that, just become a member of my blog in the little sidebar GFC thing! Oh and on Bloglovin, if you don't mind! Haha

To join the fun and make new book blogger friends, just follow these simple rules:
  1. (Required) Follow the Hosts {Parajunkee & Alison Can Read}
  2. (Required) Follow our Featured Bloggers.
  3. Put your Blog name & URL in the Linky thing. You can also grab the code if you would like to insert it into your posts.
  4. Grab the button up there and place it in a post, this post is for people to find a place to say "hi" in your comments and that they are now following you.
  5. If you are using WordPress or another CMS that doesn't have GFC (Google Friends Connect) state in your posts how you would like to be followed
  6. Follow Follow Follow as many as you can, as many as you want, or just follow a few. The whole point is to make new friends and find new blogs. Also, don't just follow, comment and say hi. Another blogger might not know you are a new follower if you don't say "HI"
  7. If someone comments and says they are following you, be a dear and follow back. Spread the Love...and the followers
  8. If you're new to the follow friday hop, comment and let me know, so I can stop by and check out your blog!
What were your favorite books of 2013?

I feel like I'm always rambling on about the same things! Haha
While choosing titles that I've already highly recommended was easy, I chose them not because it was easy, but because I genuinely enjoyed these the most! I hope you guys did too! Or will?..

I'll see you guys later!

Start Up Post

Just a quick, start up blog post so my blog doesn't look so empty and sad.. haha!

Anyway, the only things on my mind, are choir practice, to which I'm headed now, getting exam results on Wednesday (not looking forward to that), how on Earth I'm going to be able to improve my blog, bourbon biscuits with nutella (I'll eventually acquire diabetes), the three books I'm simultaneously reading (The Fault in our Stars, The Maze Runner and The Fall of Five), when will season two of The Legend of Korra ever come out, the scheduling conflict between choir practice on Fridays and extra classes in the Institute of Education, and how I'm going to have to start studying because Fifth Year is no joke!

It's a lot to think about all at once, that's just the norm for me, and it usually gets me stressed out. But I'm working on that!

Sorry if this post is amateurish and not very well written, I'm posting from my iPhone!

I promise it wont always be this bad haha!
